Manchester Creative and Media Academy Boys held its first Year 9 Careers Day this Tuesday (23rd February).
Taking place in various locations around the site, representatives from the Armed Forces and Aim Higher held workshops while students also had career interviews.
Organiser Mr. Leach said: “The event was a great opportunity to focus the minds of Year 9’s ahead of Options.”
One of the hall workshops saw pupils develop team working skills through a bridge crossing exercise ran by staff from The Royal Airforce (RAF).
All of them had to get across the mock bridge without it tipping over. They used communication, cooperation and physical skills in order to succeed in the task.
