The Manchester Creative and Media Academy (Girls) Helping Haiti Car Wash raised over £70 for the continued efforts assisting Haiti’s recovery from the January earthquake.
Year 9 pupils raised a total of £71 for the Caribbean island, which is still in the middle of a rebuilding operation after the 7.0 earthquake caused extensive widespread damage.
Miss Martin from Humanities organised the car wash. She said: “The car washing was a great success.
“The girls did work really hard and appreciate the support from all the staff.”
