Celebration: MC&MA's Rounders Team with their tournament trophy

These proud students impressed when they represented Manchester Creative and Media Academy (Girls) for the first time in a recent Rounders tournament.

The year 7 team came second after competing against other teams from local schools.

P.E teacher Miss Eaton said the girls deserve a big congratulations: “They played really well and their behaviour was a credit to the Academy.”

The team that travelled to the tournament were Katie McCann, Skye Cooke, Melissa Bannister, Ashleigh Davies, Anesu Nyamutora and Muha Chow Loo.

Their fellow members were Leah Mreisheh, Gledisa Mussolari, Deborah Fashina, Diane Foster, Michela McKenna, Shannon Manstridge and Fadeke Ifebajo.
