Top Manchester Creative and Media Academy (MC&MA Boys) art students will enjoy a taste of the limelight at an all-new exhibition this July.
An open invitation has been sent to the community for the MC&MA Art Showcase at the Academy’s boys’ site in Blackley.
It’s the first major art exhibition MC&MA Boys’ had held – and it’s well worth a look.
People will get the opportunity to enjoy our creative and committed Year 11 student’s GCSE and BTEC work at the exhibition.
Vast array of artistic styles
It will feature a wide range of styles including ceramics, textiles, print, painting, Batik and graphic design. Work has been specifically chosen for display after it was invigilated by an external examiner.
Art teacher Mr Barber said: “The aim of the exhibition is to celebrate and show the talent of what the pupils have achieved over the past two years.
“Our boys are very proud to display the best of their work which shows off their talents and ability.”
It takes place on July 1, and starts at 6pm and will be open until 7.30pm. See you there!
