Above is a short film produced by the MC&MA Media Team with Miriam Martin.
Miss Martin’s bike team have worked closely with expert cyclist and King Of Dirt Champion 2007, Ricky Crompton on enrichment programmes with Academy students. She has been working with her cycling team teaching them skills, control and jumps in preparation for this film. Bringing in Ricky Crompton to show them the extreme side of cycling.
This film, which was developed by Miss Martin, Ricky and the dance department, reflects the skills the students have learnt from both the cycling and dance enrichment programmes.
It was premiered at the annual sports presentation evening to a rapturous reception.
The film will be used as a tool to showcase the opportunities MC&MA can offer through enrichment. We are taking the film to feeder primary schools in order to excite and encourage them to join us here at MC&MA.
