Manchester Creative and Media Academy (MC&MA Girls) raised £45 when they partied for Amnestea.
9H Citizenship group held a tea party for Amnesty International in order to raise money for human rights, serving cakes, biscuits and drinks for attendees.
Partygoers also enjoyed music and decorations at the event, which was part of the students’ independent citizenship project.
They put up posters around school and placed invites in teacher’s pigeon holes.
Miss Martin said: “Thank you to those that came along to the Amnestea Party to support out Year 9 Citizenship girls.
“We had lots of happy customers. Please congratulate the girls for all their hard work.”
