Aimee Cook (right) Is One Of North Manchester School Sports Partnership's Young Ambassadors

Year 10 student Aimee Cook is flying the flag for Manchester Creative and Media Academy (Girls’) as a Young Ambassador for City Of Manchester School Sport Partnership (CMSSP).

She was specially selected by MC&MA Girls’ PE department and the CMSSP for her outstanding commitment and ability as a volunteer for the Youth Sport Trust.

The CMSSP is a primary and secondary schools co-operative which works to enhance sporting opportunities in the area.

 Community involvement

Aimee features on the CMSSP flyer (see above) with fellow Young Ambassadors Matthew from St Matthew’s RC High School and Naomi from Our Lady’s RC High School.

They all recently attended a Young Ambassador conference to learn more about being identified as role models, using the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games to inspire others’ involvement in sport and physical activity.

Aimee will hopefully be visiting schools to promote the Olympics through assemblies, Olympic and sports days.

Well done Aimee – keep up the fantastic work!
