Following the success of the ‘ millennium challenge Competition’ over the last 12 years, Ghyll Head Outdoor Centre have set up a new series of challenges in memory of Kath Fry who was a great supporter the the outdoor education centre.

This competition involves 10 x yr 10 pupils in a series of outdoor challenges which demands an ability to solve problems and attitude of determination and perseverance but above all the ability to communicate and work together as a team.

Points are awarded over the course of the weekend. And didn’t the girls do well!!!! Results are due in  shortly but the MCMA girls group did fantastic, a little ‘blip’ on the first night on the solo walk where they got a little bit ‘lost’, however , the girls were top of the list for all the other events so the school has a great chance of finishing in 1st place…………watch this space!!!! There are 3 more school to take part in the challenge next weekend.
