Friday 19th July saw MCMA hosting its Year 10 Careers Fair. The event provided a close up opportunity for pupils to find out exactly what skills and attitudes are required to succeed in the global economy. As well as providing inspiration to succeed, it highlighted the relevance of GCSE and BTEC subjects to working life.
A range of further and higher education institutions attended, highlighting progression routes right through to postgraduate study. Apprenticeships were also promoted as a high quality alternative to academic study and a range of employers highlighted opportunities within their organisations.
